With over 35 years of expertise, the International Association of Personal Protection Agents (IAPPA) has stood for high-quality training in all areas of security since its foundation. Both the IAPPA itself and our internationally certified trainers and security academies offer tailor-made security training for companies, authorities, NGOs and private individuals.

The IAPPA "Close Protection Agent" basic course was developed in 1989 as one of the first standardized training courses for bodyguards in the USA. The training quickly became an international success and bodyguards all over the world have completed this training.

The basic course serves as an introduction for emergency personnel who have little or no experience in personal protection. This training is also the right choice as a refresher or for those returning to the field, as the course covers all aspects of modern personal protection and is always adapted to current events.

The "Event Security Management" course is particularly suitable for security consultants, event organizers, security personnel and others working in security and event management. The course focuses on strategic and tactical planning for events with an increased risk potential.

Training is also provided on the topics of conflict management, IED and behavior during protests and demonstrations.

Stays in crisis regions with high to extreme risks present employees with particular challenges in terms of security. HEAT training offers the best possible preparation for surviving trips and stays in regions with high risks of armed conflict, terrorism or crime and mastering dangerous situations with confidence.

At IAPPA, we offer a range of courses at all security levels. We place great emphasis on realistic and proven courses. These cover all levels of the subject, from introductory to specialization courses. The IAPPA Online Academy is an effective additional offer for emergency services personnel who wish to receive further training or certification in various security topics. With our offer you often have the choice between a regular course, which you complete and receive a certificate of attendance at the end, or you want to be certified and receive a printed certificate. Then you complete the course and have to answer questions at the end of each chapter. Once you have successfully completed everything, you will receive your certificate at home.
